Stephanie Casey, DO is a board-certified gynecologist and joined McDowell Mountain  Gynecology after completing her medical residency training at Rutgers University in New Jersey. 

Originally from California, she completed a master’s in medical sciences at the University of  South Florida and then medical school training at the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine.  She then completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Rutgers – NJMS where she  received specialized training in minimally invasive surgical approaches; including laparoscopic  techniques and robotic-assisted techniques.  

While her surgical training is extensive, Dr Casey believes in providing minimally invasive  options, when possible, for improved patient outcomes. In addition to minimally invasive  laparoscopic training, she is also proficient in hysteroscopy, endometrial ablation, colposcopy,  family planning services, contraceptive care, hormone replacement therapy, and pelvic organ  prolapse repair. She believes in treating the whole person and is passionate about providing  best patient care for each person’s individualized need. 

During her medical residency training, Dr Casey earned the prestigious roll of administrative  chief and elected union representative for the Committee of Interns and Residents. She  additionally hopes to continue working with ACOG (American College of Obstetrics and  Gynecology) District VIII for women’s rights and healthcare advocacy.
